When you have kids, you can even prepare them together by having your children mash the banana! In other words, you can turn this recipe into a FUN GAME THAT YOUR KIDS WLL LOVE!
'PIMP THEM UP' with cacao / desiccated coconut / cinnamon /etc., according to your taste (and what your kids love)!
What you need:
- 80-90g oats
- 1 mashed medium-sized ripe banana
- 15-20g desiccated coconut
- 1-2 tbsp organic cacao powder (depending on your preference on how dark you like your chocolate)
How to make them:
First peel the banana and mash it with a fork on a plate or in a bowl.
Then add the oats, coconut, and cacao and mix all ingredients well with a fork. Add more oats when the mix is too 'liquid' or add more banana if it is too dry.
Heat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius / 356 Fahrenheit. Put baking paper on a tray. Then add small amounts of the mixture with a spoon on the baking paper and flatten with a fork – make sure to leave enough space between each cookie.
Put the tray in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown. Check regularly to avoid burning the cookies.
Once they are ready, take them out of the oven and let them cool down. They can be stored in a container for a few days.
